Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kasane – Chobe National Park
Arrival: Arrive at Kasane Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge located on the edge of Chobe National Park. Check-in & Relaxation: Check into your exclusive lodge and take time to relax or explore the lodge’s surroundings. Afternoon Game Drive: Embark on your first game drive in Chobe National Park. Known for its massive herds of elephants, Chobe is also home to lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes. Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy a gourmet dinner at your lodge, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2: Chobe National Park – Game Drives & River Safari
Morning Game Drive: Begin your day with a sunrise game drive to see Chobe’s wildlife in the early morning light. Your expert guide will help you track the Big Five and other species like giraffes, zebras, and hippos. Return for Breakfast & Leisure: After the game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time to enjoy the lodge’s amenities, such as a spa or pool. Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Chobe River: In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Chobe River. Watch as elephants, hippos, and crocodiles come to drink, while an array of bird species fills the air. Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy another gourmet dinner at the lodge and relax in your luxurious surroundings.
Day 3: Scenic Flight to the Okavango Delta
Scenic Flight: After breakfast, board a light aircraft for a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, one of the world’s largest inland deltas. The aerial view of the waterways, islands, and wildlife is breathtaking. Arrival at Okavango Delta Camp: Land in the heart of the Delta and transfer to your luxury tented camp. Enjoy lunch upon arrival, and take in the serene environment. Afternoon Mokoro Safari: Experience a unique mokoro (dugout canoe) safari through the Okavango Delta’s winding waterways. This is a peaceful way to spot wildlife, such as elephants, hippos, and various bird species. Dinner & Overnight: Return to camp for a delicious dinner and overnight in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
Day 4: Okavango Delta – Game Drives & Bush Walks
Morning Game Drive: Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Okavango Delta. This is prime time for viewing predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas, along with herds of elephants, buffaloes, and zebras. Return for Breakfast: After the game drive, return to camp for a leisurely breakfast. Guided Bush Walk: Later, enjoy a guided bush walk, where your guide will show you the finer details of the delta’s ecosystem, such as plants, insects, and tracks left by animals. Afternoon Leisure & Sunset Game Drive: Relax during the afternoon, then head out for a sunset game drive. As the day cools, wildlife becomes more active, providing excellent viewing opportunities. Dinner & Overnight: End your day with dinner at the camp and a comfortable overnight stay in your luxury tent.
Day 5: Fly to Moremi Game Reserve
Morning Departure: After breakfast, take another scenic flight, this time to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, considered one of the best wildlife areas in Africa. Arrival & Game Drive: Upon arrival, embark on a game drive en route to your luxury camp. The area is known for its rich biodiversity and frequent predator sightings. Lunch & Leisure: After lunch at the camp, enjoy some relaxation time, taking in the beauty of your surroundings. Afternoon Game Drive: In the late afternoon, set out for another game drive in Moremi, keeping an eye out for the rare African wild dog, along with elephants, antelopes, and birdlife. Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy dinner at the camp and an overnight stay in luxurious accommodations.
Day 6: Moremi Game Reserve – Full-Day Safari
Morning Game Drive: Head out on an early morning game drive through Moremi’s diverse habitats, from mopane woodlands to floodplains, home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of herbivores. Bush Breakfast: Midway through your game drive, enjoy a bush breakfast in a scenic location within the reserve. Afternoon Boat Safari: In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Okavango Delta’s channels and lagoons, providing another perspective of the wildlife and birdlife. Farewell Dinner & Overnight: Celebrate your last night in the bush with a special farewell dinner, followed by a final overnight stay in your luxury camp.
Day 7: Departure – Moremi to Maun
Final Game Drive: Take one last game drive in the early morning before returning to camp for breakfast. Fly to Maun: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scenic flight to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun, you will catch your onward flight or continue to your next destination.
