This 4-day adventure offers a perfect combination of the majestic Victoria Falls and the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park. You’ll experience the natural wonder of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, along with exciting game drives and boat cruises in Chobe National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Arrival: Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport, where you will be met by a representative and transferred to your mid-range lodge in Victoria Falls. Check-in & Relaxation: After checking into your lodge, take some time to relax or explore the surroundings. Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River: In the late afternoon, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Watch for hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species as you enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Snacks and drinks will be served on board. Dinner & Overnight: Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Victoria Falls.

Day 2: Victoria Falls Guided Tour & Transfer to Chobe National Park

Victoria Falls Guided Tour: After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls. Learn about the history and geology of the falls, and take in the breathtaking views from various vantage points along the rainforest trails. Optional Activities: You may opt to engage in some optional activities, such as helicopter flights over the falls, bungee jumping, or zip-lining (at an additional cost). Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Victoria Falls town. Transfer to Chobe National Park (Botswana): In the afternoon, transfer to Kasane in Botswana, the gateway to Chobe National Park. The transfer will take approximately 1.5 hours, including border formalities. Upon arrival, check into your mid-range lodge or camp near Chobe National Park. Dinner & Overnight: Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Chobe.

Day 3: Chobe National Park – Game Drive & Boat Cruise

Morning Game Drive: Start your day with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park. The park is renowned for its large population of elephants, as well as lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. Your guide will help you spot the Big Five and other wildlife. Return for Breakfast & Relaxation: After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. Lunch at Lodge: Enjoy lunch at your lodge before your afternoon activity. Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Chobe River: In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Chobe River, which attracts a wide range of wildlife, particularly elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. This cruise offers a unique opportunity to view animals coming to the river for water and to capture stunning wildlife photos from the water. Dinner & Overnight: Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chobe National Park – Transfer to Victoria Falls for Departure

Morning Leisure: Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge and spend some free time relaxing at the lodge or taking a short walk around the area. Transfer Back to Victoria Falls: Transfer back to Victoria Falls for your onward journey. If time allows, you may visit local markets for souvenirs or have lunch in Victoria Falls town before your departure. Departure: You will be dropped off at Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward flight.
